How do I sell my items with Bangor Auction Company?

BAC takes items on consignment as well as purchases them outright from our clients. When you consign with BAC, you will be provided with a contract and your items will be sold in one of our auctions. If you have items you would like to sell or would like to request more information, please visit our contact us page.

How do I bid online?

Bangor Auction Company runs our online auctions through Auction Zip. If you wish to bid online you can create an account on their website by clicking here! (auctionzip.com)

On Auction Zip you will be able to view all of the items in the upcoming auction and place bids before the live auction starts.

What if I can't attend the live auction or bid online?

BAC allows patrons to leave absentee bids. Please notify our staff prior to the start of the auction which items you would like to bid on and what your max bid will be. During the auction a member of the BAC staff will bid on your behalf and stop at your max bid.

Payment and Shipping information

On site bidders must pay for the items they win during or at the end of the auction. Arrangements can be made to leave your items at the auction hall in order to pick them up and pay for them within 3 business days. Online and absentee bidders must pay for their items within 3 business days upon completion of the auction. Unpaid items will be forfeited and reauctioned at a later date. Payments can be made online or over the phone via credit or debit card. Payments can also be made by check or cash if you choose to pick up your items in person at the auction hall.

Bangor Auction Company ships worldwide. BAC uses the United States Postal Service. Shipping fees will be calculated and added to the winning bidders total balance.

What is the buyers premium?

The buyers premium is a service charge that is added to all sales and completed when winning bidders checkout. BAC charges a 13% premium with a 3% discount if you pay by cash or check.
